Prior to Pastor Larry and Marilyn Burton coming to pastor the congregation of Hot Springs First Assembly in November of 2012, they served as Senior Pastor of McArthur Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas where they saw the church grow from 17 in attendance to over 1,100.

The Burtons have two grown children, Kristen Brown, married to Dr. Ross Brown, and Justin Burton, married to Melonie Roden Burton.

Pastor Burton grew up in a pastor's home where he developed a love for both people and the Word of God and bases his leadership style on loving people, relevant teaching, prayer, relational evangelism, systematic lifestyle discipleship, and consistent grace.

Favorite verse : "By this shall all men know you are my disciples, if you have love one for another." John 13:35

Favorite Leadership Principle: Never let a problem become more important than a person, and never let a person become more important than a principle. Principles are based on God's Word and are the non-negotiables of life. Finally, you set policy to love and serve the people as you protect principles.

Pastor David has led our music and media ministries since 1999. He and his wife, Angel, previously served churches in Brownsburg, Indiana, and Little Rock, Arkansas. David's ministry extends past the local church as he is also a conference worship leader and owns his own music production company. He is a licensed minister of the Assemblies of God and the couple are both alumni of Central Bible College. They have been married 18 years and have two sons, Grant and Mason.

Zack and Krystal Brown came on staff at First Assembly in August 2010. They were married in 2008 while still in college. Zack graduated from Central Bible College with a degree in Pastoral Ministries and Bible, and Krystal graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Zack and Krystal both sense a strong calling to reach teenagers from all walks of life. Their passion is to see students completely devote their lives to serving God in every capacity.
